90s-Inspired Amp Heads

The 90s Triple Rectifier Solo Head by MESA/boogie Returns

MESA/Boogie has brought back the 90s Triple Rectifier Solo Head in a limited production run. The unit features a blackout aesthetic with a black chassis, black Speed knobs, and a black diamond plate grille, all hand-built in Petaluma, California.

This 150-watt all-tube amplifier head runs on six 6L6 power tubes and three 5U4GB rectifier tubes, offering selectable tube or silicon diode rectification and a two-position BOLD or SPONGY power switch to adjust the feel and response of the amp. Two fully independent channels provide access to Clean, Vintage High Gain, and Modern High Gain modes through a cloning system, while a tube-driven effects loop and slave output expand routing possibilities for stage or studio use.

The blackout cosmetic treatment of the 90s Triple Rectifier Solo Head, which was a coveted custom option in the 1990s, adds visual appeal and stage presence.
