This sturdy set of sliding shelves easily adapts to any home's space or storage needs with its unique expandable design.
Made by world renowned Japanese design studio Nendo, the 'Nest' sliding shelving unit is able to easily double its size in width when fully extended. The unit also seamlessly transforms from a three shelf to nine shelf cabinet of varying sizes. The thinner expandable portion of these sliding shelves is actually hidden away within an outer layer, allowing the unit to be easily slid out by hand.
The 'Nest' is also made from a set of thin yet sturdy carbon fibre sheets that make for a lightweight but strong overall design. The sheets are then covered in a dark wooden veneer that gives the final design a refined overall look.
