Sleek Upholstered Seating

LaCividina Debuts Its Comfortable Furniture Collection in Milan

For the 2018 Milan Design Week, Italian furniture brand LaCividina concentrates on form and palette for a selection of minimalist and sleek upholstered seating, designed by French designer Constance Guisset and German designer Sebastian Hekner.

The appearances of the pieces are informed by the fluidity and inherent voluminous shape of ellipses. The upholstered seating is kept minimalist, allowing for the offerings to soundly reference the dynamics of the room. Coming in a variety of sizes, LaCividina's furniture collections exclusively entertain "only one depth," allowing for the pieces to have a certain sculptural aspect. The modern upholstered seating is prompted by skinny black pegs that not only add a juxtaposing sense of lightweight-ness but that also offer a contrast with the colorful appearance of LaCividina's furniture collection.
