Engineering firm Arup Associates worked with Eckersley O' Callaghan and Reynolds to create the glass 'Sky Pool' bridge concept. The bridge is designed to connect two apartment buildings in London's new Nine Elms housing unit. The sky pool is planned to be 25 meters long in order to connect both buildings.

The aquarium-mimicking pool will be made of pure glass that amounts to a 20 centimeter thickness. The vessel itself will be five meters wide and three meters deep.

This creative bridge concept will let tenants in each building enjoy a refreshing swim while embracing views of the elegant city of London. In addition to this unique pool, the rooftop will be full equipped with a bar, a spa and a pleasant orangery that tenants will all have access to.
