Ideas are everywhere but to spot them, it can take a trained eye open to new opportunity, adapting to change and diverging from previous successes to harness their potential. Creative innovation keynote speaker Jeremy Gutsche was recently featured on the Six Pixels of Separation podcast presented by Mirum to talk to Mitch Joel about the future, trends and how to find your next big idea using Gutsche's New York Times bestselling business book, Better and Faster: The Proven path to Unstoppable Ideas.

According to Gutsche, we are currently experience history's highest rate of change. Because of this, Gutsche remarks that the pace of change is not linear and can often take many who aren't willing to adapt by surprise. "Take an experience in your life or in your business and look at how much has happened in last ten years and look how much has happened now," says Gutsche. "You might not be not know what is going to happen five years from now, maybe the next five will be the same. But actually, the next five will be ten times more innovative." Seeing change as an opportunity can help one leverage its potential.
