While an elegant contemporary aesthetic drives this single-storey family home in Chlum, Czech Republic, the structure catches attention with an unlikely feature for the region—a greenhouse.
The modern project is overhauled by RicharDavidArchitekti and is aptly titled 'House with a Greenhouse.' The placement of the semi-opaque structure, which is made out of polycarbonate, is strategic. The studio topped the single-storey family home with it so that residents could "enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding orchard."
The greenhouse and the home are in stark contrast with one another, while both maintain a minimalist and elegant appearance. The interior of the dwelling relies on an open-concept arrangement and the furniture is arranged by Jana Medková and Hana Medková.
