Indola's #SimplySmarter line includes three styling products for the hair with NFC-enabled packaging that instantly connects professional hairstylists to more information about the products. Scanning the NFC tag on the product packaging with a NFC-enabled mobile device directs users to a landing page that offers product information, how-to videos from celebrity ambassadors, as well as a curated Instagram feed that is constantly updated to offer fresh and inspiring new looks.
The #SimplySmarter line is set to be introduced to 35 countries, making it one of the largest NFC pilots in the beauty care market.
NFC tags are being integrated into a variety of packaged goods across multiple categories, making it possible for consumers and professionals like to become engaged in stores, at home and service environments.
