There are many e-commerce experiences that can be carried out by a buyer without ever having to interact with the seller, but 'Shopo' puts peer-to-peer exchanges at the center of its service.
Shopo operates as a zero-commission marketplace where users are able to buy and sell an assortment of products. When a user comes across a particular item that they may want to find out more about or bargain with the seller on, they are able to press a button to initiate a chat. Within this chat, users are able to make and edit offers in order to find a compromise that works for both involved parties.
The peer-to-peer model is inspiring more interaction between buyers and sellers, especially since both ends are interested in getting the most value possible out of a service.
