In the past, purchasing a car at a dealership required completing the transaction through a salesperson, but GM introduced 'Shop Click Drive' to transfer the power back into the consumer's hands.
GM's Shop Click Drive online platform is currently being introduced to Canada by the Roy Foss Dealer Group at the Roy Foss Thornhill location in Ontario. Using this platform enables consumers to learn and shop at their own leisure, and potentially even make their entire purchase online.
When possible, many consumers today avoid brick-and-mortar dealerships because visiting one can be a stressful process that involves negotiation and feeling pressured into purchasing overpriced add-ons. As an alternative to this, a new wave of dealerships and car sales tools are emerging to facilitate comfortable, convenient sales experiences from start to finish.
