In honor of World Ocean's day and the upcoming Shark Week, renowned skincare company Lush has launched a Shark Attack Campaign to raise awareness about ocean conservation. The campaign will donate 100 percent of sale from Lush's 'Shark Fin Soap' to the Rob Stewart Sharkwater Foundation and 100 percent of fan-favorite 'Charity Pot' body lotion to groups fighting for environmental justice, animal protection and human rights.
The initiative highlights the fact that 100 million sharks are killed by humans every year and used in cosmetics, supplements, and food without consumers knowing. In addition, sharks are essential to keeping coral alive and thriving as they are a keystone species. The Shark Attack Campaign asks individuals to pledge to protect sharks by banning products containing the marine animal from your home.
