To celebrate the launch of its seasonal menu, Costa Coffee has opened 'Seriously Summer' concept stores. While the UK coffee chain has already been promoting its fresh fruit smoothies and healthy salad wraps, now it is giving consumers a way to immerse themselves in the full summer experience.
The chain is opening three Seriously Summer pop-ups with locations in Leeds, London and Glasgow. Each concept store will be outfitted with tropical decor such as plastic flamingos, hot pink neon signs and palm leaf wallpaper. In addition to the summery decorations, the stores will also have designated selfie zones where customers can strike a pose in a Miami-themed space complete with lounge chairs and fake grass. If customers tag their selfie with the hashtag '#seriouslysummerselfie' they will also have a chance to win in-store pieces.
The interactive pop-up shops gives consumers a new way to interact with Costa Coffee and engage with the chain's new summer menu.
