EL PORTAL's brand identity brings the seafood restaurant's tropical theme to life and is the work of graphic designer Miguel Basurto. Based in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Basurto experiments with nautical motifs and creates promotional materials that are accented with a myriad of fun illustrations and patterns.
The playful collages are comprised of fish and lobster creatures that are showcased alongside seashell, flag and ship wheel shapes. These collages are also accented with stripes, a timeless pattern that is synonymous with nautical style. The fun illustrations are not only featured on EL PORTAL's menus but also adorn the seafood restaurant's business cards, in-house stationary and other promotional materials.
Based in Mexico, this restaurant's brand identity is made fresh and vibrant, representing the eatery's fresh seafood range, core values and its modern design vision.
