With the sheer volume of content that is out there for people to consume, it is a challenge for marketers to create something arresting enough to get social media users to stop their endless scrolling—but KFC Middle East used scrolling to its advantage for the creation of its 'Scroll Thru.'
Inspired by the drive-thru window experience, KFC Middle East created a food-ordering window within social media feeds that allows users to order food with the press of a button, right from within their social media feed. In place of an advertisement, the Scroll Thru appears in one's feed, complete with a KFC employee who makes various meal suggestions.
With a few swipes, social media users are able to quickly and easily place their mobile food order in a unique new way.
