In the most popular Lithuanian Design Contest to date, SMAR Architecture Studio prevails with its innovative and minimalist proposal for a clean and ultra-futuristic science center. The award-winning design competed against a total of 144 teams from 44 countries.
The soon-to-be-built National Science and Innovation Center in Lithuania boasts a distraction-free aesthetic and a reference to the existing landscape with a "sloping and reflecting upper disk" on the ceiling. From the detailed image renderings, one can easily deduce that the innovative science center entertains an open-space concept for the floor plan that is sure to foster socialization and a platform for discussion between visitors.
