Jim Campbell's 'Scattered Light' Looks Like a Landed Constellation

If you happen to be in New York, I suggest you take an evening stroll in Madison Square Park and revel in the beauty that is 'Scattered Light.' Comprised of three separate installations, this piece of public art is an orchestrated light show that will use computer programming and high technology to illuminate the park throughout the fall and winter seasons.

Created by new media artist Jim Campbell, the 'Scattered Light' installation uses only LED lights, even though the largest piece seems to use incandescent bulbs.
