Tiger-Saving Cat Campaigns

Internet Cats Like Nala and Lil Bub Want You to Help Save the Tigers

This Greenpeace campaign to save the tigers gets aid from some of the most popular felines on the Internet—Lil Bub, Hamilton the Hipster Cat and Nala. Although thousands upon thousands of domestic cats run rampant online, there are only about 3,000 wild tigers left in the world. Now, these celebrity Internet cats are lending a paw to their feral cousins in need with the #CatsSaveTigers campaign.

To participate, cat owners are encouraged to visit the campaign website, come up with their own cat meme and share it online with the campaign hashtag in order to raise awareness about the dire need to save tigers from extinction due to the destruction of their natural habitats for the creation of palm oil plantations in Indonesia, coal mines in India and logging in Russia.
