Vacuum-Suctioned Billboards

Saatchi Netherlands Created a Clever Samsung Vacuum Ad

To advertise for the Samsung vacuum, ad agency Saatchi Netherlands created a billboard ad that physically proves the product's power. The creative agency came up with the ad to eliminate the stigmas that are associated with billboards -- especially ones that are advertising vacuums. Many people are uninterested in a vacuum ads; they can be very boring and drab.

This specific vacuum ad however, grabs every passing pedestrian's attention. With the installation of a rigged motor, the Samsung ad looks and sounds as if it's constantly being "sucked" back into place by the vacuum cleaner that is placed on top of the ad.

The ad is playful, yet it still demonstrates the actual capabilities of the product it is marketing.
