Columbia-based designer David Espinosa created the branding and packaging for these Saha coffee bags. The concept explores the idea of using color to determine flavor variations.
Each bag of Saha coffee is either white or black and contains a burst of colorful smoke, which appears in the form of a cloud on the face of the sack. The brand carries a variety of coffees and includes strong, decaf, latte and mocha flavors. The white bags are used to package normal coffees, while the black bags are used for Saha's specialty caffeine drinks.
The simple differentiation concept allows consumers to easily select and understand the flavors. This modern packaging hopes to appeal to consumers who enjoy making fresh home-brewed coffee rather than spending money at a local cafe.
