In order to better serve its most loyal customers, fast food restaurant chain Rutter's implemented a unique feature on its touchscreen ordering kiosk. After putting through an order, patrons have the chance to enter their VIP number and opt for the kiosk to remember their order. This feature works for up to 12 past orders, making it extremely easy for a consumer to return on a separate occasion and re-order a number of different favorite food combinations.
To further celebrate its VIP customers, Rutter's also makes use of its mobile app to offer easy payment options, targeted coupons and rewards. As if combining the features of Foursquare and Yelp, the mobile app also provides a place for customers to check in and provide feedback. In return, they are eligible to receive incentives.
