A&W Canada has introduced a new customer rewards initiative — A&W Rewards — and it integrates directly into the QSR brand's existing mobile application.

The A&W Rewards program enables customers to accumulate points through purchases made either via the app or in physical locations by scanning a QR code, with a redemption system offering various menu items at different point thresholds. Points are earned at a rate of 10 per dollar spent on qualifying purchases, with options ranging from beverages at 300 points to combo meals at 1500 points. The loyalty scheme includes an expiration policy where unused points vanish after one year. Existing app users are automatically enrolled, while new participants must download the application and register for an account to participate.
