Talk about driven! News today claims that Rolle is taking a year-long hiatus from the game to go to Oxford University to chase the neurosurgery thing.

Implications - The celebration and celebritization of sports superstars isn't going out of style anytime soon, but there has been a recent shift in focus towards academic achievement. With the economic recession hitting many consumers hard, education has been the reason why some of prevailed while others still find themselves unable to find employment. Education is the key to financial protection, so while sports stars are still idolized, education is still highly valued.
