Ron Carúpano Turned Rum Bottle Designs into Digital Assets

Venezuelan brand Ron Carúpano is exploring Art, Innovation and Rum with a project that turns rum bottle designs into works of art. Created in collaboration with five artists, the project features the brand's Legendario expression, which can now be owned as a digital asset. The NFTs spotlight each Venezuelan artist's unique perspective and style, and the designs can now be found in the OpenSea marketplace.

Profits from the innovative NFT project from Ron Carúpano and artists Armando Velutini, Aureliano Parra, Gerardo Campos, Dagor and Carlos Vallenilla will help to support the Thomas Merle Foundation in Carúpano, Venezuela, which is the same place where the rum producer’s ageing facilities can be found. The unique art pieces celebrate artistry, feed back into the local community and help to provide collectors with authenticated goods that they can keep or trade.
