If you want to treat your dad to a delicious dinner this Father's Day, these grilled baby back ribs come covered in a root beer BBQ sauce. Created by Jess of How Sweet It Is, the recipe for the sauce is based on the vanilla bourbon version found in her new cookbook.
The food blogger baked then grilled the ribs before covering them in spices and finished with the root beer BBQ sauce. While the ribs are tender yet crispy and practically fall off the bone, the sauce has a smoky and sweet flavor with just a hint of root beer. You will need ingredients such as ketchup, root beer, honey, garlic, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, paprika and pepper if you make the sauce at home.
