The Xpeng Robot Unicorn Would Offer Entertainment for Youngsters

The Xpeng robot unicorn has been shown off by the China-based electric vehicle maker as a future product that would provide children with an interactive robotic companion. The robot is engineered as a quadruped that would make use of the brand's autonomous driving technologies and additional artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to provide an interactive experience. The robot is reported to be part of the brand's shift more broadly into the robotics space and building on existing technologies it already has.

The Xpeng robot unicorn has been unveiled by the brand with a promotional video, but is presently only in the prototype phase with information on a consumer version not yet available. The robot would be capable of playing with children, taking them for rides and more.
