Rimowa x Lehni Turns Suitcases into Display-Ready Storage Pieces

— April 18, 2026 — Art & Design
Rimowa x Lehni collection is a limited-edition furniture collaboration unveiled at Salone del Mobile 2026, translating the brand’s aluminum suitcase language into domestic storage formats. The Rimowa x Lehni collection includes two pieces, a Bench and a Drawer, both constructed from anodized aluminum and designed to house cabin-sized suitcases within the home. The Bench features an open shelving structure that holds two cases side by side, while the Drawer introduces a closed frame with integrated storage for smaller items. Both designs carry Rimowa’s signature grooved grid pattern, creating continuity between luggage and furniture.

The pieces are produced by Swiss manufacturer Lehni, known for its long-standing expertise in aluminum fabrication, with each unit handmade in its Zurich facility. Interior surfaces are lined with scratch-resistant felt to protect stored cases, reinforcing the functional role of the furniture beyond display. It is available in silver and black finishes.
