For its September issue, GARAGE Magazine employs creative Deana Lawson for a Rihanna photoshoot that communicates everything the pop culture icon stands for. The cover of the publication and the accompanying editorial display the R'n'B Queen in a glamorous setting. The celebrity is seen wearing high-fashion pieces from labels like Dolce & Gabbana, Y/Project, Tiffany & Co. and more.
According to GARAGE's editor-in-chief, Mark Guiducci, the Rihanna photoshoot is meant to embrace and showcase the character traits that make the celebrity one of the most beloved today — "unguarded, miraculously vital, perfect in her imperfections."
Moreover, the Rihanna photoshoot is New York-based Deana Lawson's debut in editorial and first-ever magazine cover. The GARAGE Magazine issue is hitting stands on September 6th.
