Lyft Has Entered a Rideshare Partnership for Performances

Lyft has announced a rideshare partnership with the entertainment company AEG, the partnership will make Lyft the exclusive ridesharing app for select concerts. Lyft will newly be available to 16 locations in 8 cities to serve users that are attending music festivals. The services can be accessed in a number of cities, including Denver, Columbus, New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Seattle.

The rideshare partnership will offer diverse modes of transportation including, scooters, bikes and car options to Lyft users attending concerts. Users can access the service in 'Lyft Zones,' where people can enter and exit their ridesharing vehicle.

The company has a history of making its services available to major venues. Lyft previously partnered with SeatGeek in order to transport people to stadium entrances that are closes to their seats. For Lyft, integrating services with popular venues will make the company stand out.
