Trinity Brand Group and Blue Moon Brewing Company created a beer-branding competition that encouraged artists to design labels for the beer, which are supposed to reveal stories through images.
The competition is cleverly titled 'Rising Moon Artist Series' and it was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary for Blue Moon Brewing. After 500 artists applied for the competition, only 20 up-and-coming artists were selected to be finalists. Each image is unique to the artist, but it also pays tribute to the beer's long and rich history. The idea for this competition is to bring recognition to new artists and promote the brand's beer with a compelling story-fueled image.
By combining labels that reveal stories, it allows consumers to feel a connection to the brand. In addition, it allows bartenders and liquor store employees to share the story with consumers, which will make it easier to start conversations and secure a sale.
