Refreshed Arts Organization Identities

Poetry Foundation Unveils Its New Identity with Pentagram

The Poetry Foundation is refreshing its look across print, digital, and public spaces with a new identity designed to give the organization more room to move. Developed with Pentagram, the system launches with the October 2026 issue of Poetry magazine and introduces a brighter palette, bolder type, and a new Pegasus.

The magazine now features poem excerpts on the cover, shifting attention from the title treatment to the writing inside. Its trim size remains the same, while the print layout uses more legible typefaces and more open space, which should make each issue feel clearer and less cluttered.

For readers and arts audiences, this means the brand can feel more flexible without losing its familiar core. The broader system also makes it easier for poetry to appear consistently across installations, websites, and printed pieces, giving the Foundation a stronger visual voice beyond the page.
