Dissected Anatomy Desserts

This Gruesome Cake Shows the Boney Inside of a Real Human Body

If you thought cakes were meant to be pretty and delicate creations this dissected real human body cake by baker Annabel de Vetten from Conjurer's Kitchen will surely change your opinion. From one side this cake features a macabre black and white Rocco design and from the other it showcases the anatomy of a freshly sliced human body.

Vetten fittingly titled her cake the 'Dissected Cake' since it so perfectly showcases the inner workings of the human body. The cake is divided up in four different tiers that each depict a different vital human organ. The top of the cake showcases a life-like brain, the second tier is a bloody human heart, the third tier is a skeletal rib cake and the bottom layer showcases the stomach. This detailed body cake looks so real it's hard to believe it's made from cake batter and fondant.
