The Quaker Oat Beverage has been unveiled by the Quaker Oats Company as a new non-dairy drink option for consumers who are looking for an alternative to milk to drink or use in their favorite recipes.

The oat-based beverage is reported to have a smooth texture profile and will come in three flavor options including Original, Original Unsweetened and Vanilla. Each of the drinks are perfect for drinking on their own or as a non-dairy alternative to put in your coffee, cereal, smoothies or other favorite recipes.

The Quaker Oat Beverage speaks to the increased popularity of alternative milk drinks and will be available for purchase starting in January. The drink is part of parent company PepsiCo's shift towards healthier food and drink options, and away from its well-known albeit unhealthy products like soda.
