This Pusha T Campaign Outlines His Stance on California's Prop 64

Marijuana legalization is at the focus of this new Pusha T campaign, which was directed by 'Team Hampton.' Under a minute long, the short video shows the New York rapper explaining why people should support California's Proposition 64.

If it's passed, the substance would be controlled, regulated and taxed. The most important aspect that's highlighted in the Pusha T campaign however is the fact that it would stop people from being arrested for marijuana possession. In addition to preventing unnecessary mass incarceration, Proposition 64 would prevent those who were recently released and trying to get their lives back on track from going back behind bars.

As Pusha T claims, "I’m not a California voter, but I know when good legislation passes in the biggest state, other states follow. What’s most important to me is keeping people who are coming home, home. If ending prohibition on marijuana reduces recidivism, then let’s do it.”
