The Punta Caliza Hotel Offers a Luxurious and Intimate Getaway

Local architects Estudio Macais Peredo created the new Punta Caliza hotel, located 300 feet from the Gulf of Mexico. The intimate sanctuary is set on the remote and private island of Holbox, Mexico, incorporated in tone of the region's most ancient buildings.

Completely free of cars, the boutique hotel is accessible solely by ferry, offering guests the rare opportunity to swim with whale sharks during all of the summer months. The hotel offers 12 guest rooms that are are modern and comfortable, giving off a villa-like aesthetic. Using classic Mexican design features, each part of the structure is both authentic and luxurious for a unique travel experience.

The serene surroundings of the Punta Caliza Hotel allow all guests to feel as though they are placed directly on the water for the perfect vacation of resting and relaxing.
