The De Gournay x Aquazzura LIne Boasts Printed Footwear & Wallpaper

Following the success of their 'Amazonia' collaboration, storied wallpaper house de Gournay and Rdgardo Osorio from Aquazzura launch yet another matching selection of luxurious printed footwear and wallpaper designs. The collection is predominantly blue -- "a nod to the watery surrounding's of de Gournay's new San Francisco showroom," and pink, mimicking the interior of Aquazzura's office spaces.

The printed footwear and wallpaper collaboration is visual proof of how interior design aesthetics integrate themselves within shoe silhouettes through color palettes and whimsical prints. Highlighting the lush tropical background that somehow strikes the perfect balance between negative space and busy design, the printed footwear, as well as designer wallpaper seem to be examples of the potential for harmonious interrelations between the fashion and interior design industries.
