Warby Parker, the glasses company best known for its jump from e-commerce into brick-and-mortar retail, nonetheless remains focused on giving its consumers the most direct access to quality frames and lenses, and that's why it has announced the release of the new Prescription Check app. The app provides a cursory eye test that consumers can use to get the right lenses for their prescription Warby Parker glasses, making it even quicker to purchase a pair through the company.
As it stands, Prescription Check is only valid for users between the ages of 18 and 40 living in California, New York, Florida, and Virginia. Further, those users must already own a pair of Warby Parker glasses to make use of the app. The company hopes to expand it more broadly in the near future.
