Tim Hortons' new Poutine Donut is about as Canadian a product as one could imagine — on par with Don Cherry wearing a suit plastered with pictures of moose and discussing his favorite Corner Gas episode while Drake and Justin Bieber serenade Justin Trudeau with 'The Good Old Hockey Game.'
Tim Hortons brands itself as a Canadian icon, so it's to be expected that the coffee shop chain would go all out for Canada's sesquicentennial this year. The Poutine Donut, which will be available on July 1st, is a Honey Dip Donut topped with potato wedges and cheese curds and drizzled with gravy. The limited edition Canada 150 menu will also include a special Maple Bacon Iced Capp (also available on July 1st) and Maple Timbits available all throughout July.
Unfortunately for Canadians, these special offers will only show up in select US locations.
