Setting up a standing desk often requires a complicated setup that involves complicated table attachments or permanently affixing a unit to a wall—as a simpler alternative to these options, Switch Stance was developed as a portable standing desk.

As well as being incredibly easy to set up, take apart and set up again, its high-grade industrial strength cardboard construction makes it extremely affordable. The mobile system involves two tiers of cardboard, which means that the unit can be used from sitting or from standing in order to reduce strain on the eyes and back.

In addition to the two flat surfaces for storing a keyboard and a screen, there's a small slot on one side of the Switch Stance unit that can be used for handy phone storage. This project is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter and has already exceeded its initial goals.
