The Porsche Swan Art Car was deisgned and created by digital artist Chris Labrooy. Labrooy, a Scotland-based digital artist, transformed his digital design into reality through 3D printing. The vehicle is a one-off creation. The Porsche Swan Art Car, peculiar by design, celebrates the German marque's 20th anniversary in China and pays homage to the first car sold in the country.

The 996-generation Porsche is non-drivable, however, visitors an view the innovative design across galleries and museums in the country. According to the luxury automotive company, the swan vehicle is a symbol for happiness and appreciation of the original 996 Porsche. Made with inflatable materials, the Porsche Swan Art Car holds Chinese sentiments and cultural significance.
