Retro-Futuristic Sports Cars

Porsche and Daniel Arsham to Reveal The NEBULA 928 Model at SXSW

Luxury car brand Porsche and contemporary designer Daniel Arsham have joined together to create the NEBULA 928 concept car in a retro-futuristic design. Daniel Arsham is known for creating art from futuristic and archaeological design concepts. The car design is inspired by the Y2K aesthetic.

The NEBULA 928 is a vintage model with a futuristic appearance that comes with metallic exterior paint in Y2K purple. The interior also has a similar color shade, with the purple hue paying tribute to the early 2000s. The steering wheel is colored white and made with aluminum, and the shift knob is designed in custom ByBorre wove fabric with purple-colored Ultrasuede and leather.

The "Nebula" text is placed on the rear bumper in LED branding, and Daniel Arsham's studio logo is placed in different car areas, such as the light cages and the seats. The car will be showcased at the Porsche X space at SXSW.
