Kentucky Derby-Goers Get to Try PopCorners Jalapeño Poppers First

Jalapeno poppers, a beloved snack at the Kentucky Derby, inspired the limited-edition PopCorners Jalapeño Popper flavor and the PepsiCo brand is allowing event attendees to be the first to savor this exclusive, zesty delight at the races.

"In developing the new Jalapeño Popper flavor, we saw an unmet desire for spicier options in the snack aisle," said Rhasheda Boyd, vice president of marketing, PepsiCo, "So, we decided to embrace our 'popped, never fried' motto with a unique take on a familiar food."

During Kentucky Derby Week, attendees can visit the PopCorners Snackbook on the Churchill Downs grounds to experience a 20s-style experience that invites them to place free bets on their favorite PopCorners flavors. PopCorners' Jalapeño Popper variety joins other fan favorites like White Cheddar, Kettle Corn and Sea Salt.
