The PopWorks x Malibu Snack Has a Pina Colada Flavor

— May 20, 2025 — Lifestyle
The PopWorks x Malibu snack has been created in collaboration between the PepsiCo-owned snack brand and the alcohol brand as a sweet, crispy product for consumers to try out this spring or summer.

The snack starts off with the signature recipe of PopWorks that features popped corn triangles which have been doused in a pina colada cocktail-flavored seasoning. This will give the snack tasing notes of pineapple and coconut, but without the alcohol that the cocktail traditionally contains. The snack is headed to the UK market with summertime snacking in mind, but has a limited-edition profile that will only be on store shelves for a short while.

Head of Culture and Partnership at Malibu Gui Pascuilli spoke on the PopWorks x Malibu snack saying, "At Malibu, we love inspiring people to enjoy their time off in unexpected ways. That’s why we’ve teamed up with PopWorks to launch a new snack: a popped corn snack combining PopWorks' crunch with the tropical flavour of a Malibu piña colada. Non-alcoholic and full of good vibes, it brings the holiday mindset to you, wherever you are. It’s bold, playful, and we hope consumers love it as much as we do."
