Primate Species Tech Branding

Popclik Finds Inspiration from the Alouatta Species

Popclik produces music technology such as headphones and speakers, and finds inspiration in an unlikely area: primate species. The brand was designed with the idea of an Alouatta primate, which is "defined as the most powerful land animal with its noise emission, producing howls heard up to 3 miles away," according to Package Inspiration. While this is an odd source to find ideas from when creating music tech, the reasoning makes perfect sense.

To bring these ideas to life, branding studio Chance Design represented this primal instinct with a monkey-like creature on the front of the company's products. The howl is represented through the open mouth of the animal, which was rendered in a basic black and white color scheme.
