Drone-Incorporated Electric Vehicles

Polestar's O2 Roadster Concept Car Includes a Built-in Drone

Polestar's O2 Roadster is a conceptual electric vehicle design that aims to combine the looks and performance of a sports car with the brand's sustainability efforts. It also incorporates the novel autonomous cinematic drone to capture the driver's picturesque journeys.

The car's drone films the user's drive to add an interactive element to the diving experience. Users won't have to stop and offload the drone before filming as it occurs seamlessly throughout the drive. Polestar explains that the drone aims to heighten the driving experience with different filming modes to mix the joy of driving an open-top vehicle with the excitement and tranquillity of electric mobility. The O2 Roadster's drone also allows users to edit the captured videos and share them directly from the vehicle.
