The technology utilizes artificial reality using a cap placed on the child's head as they take on the role of a Pokémon hunter. The game tasks them with rescuing creatures including Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Eevee, and more by brushing the purple gunk off teeth as shown on their screen. Once the creatures are captured, they are able to level up.
