While there are other consumer-focused dental cameras and camera-equipped toothbrushes out there on the market, what makes Zaamigo's solution stick out from the crowd is the fact that it uses AI to provide well-informed analysis and monitoring.
This dental camera, which looks like an electric toothbrush, simply needs to be inserted into the mouth of the user after they brush their teeth as normal. The camera then goes about taking photos of their upper and lower teeth before sharing the images to a companion smartphone app, where AI-fueled algorithms analyze the images and identify problems.
From suggesting changes to brushing technique to recommending a visit to the dentist, this dental camera offers feedback that helps users take charge of their dental health.
