Zaamigo, a startup company that was spun off at research and work conducted at ETH Zurich, has launched an innovative new dental camera that makes it possible for regular people to be able to seamlessly and proactively keep tabs on their gum and teeth help without always having to make a trip to the dentist.
While there are other consumer-focused dental cameras and camera-equipped toothbrushes out there on the market, what makes Zaamigo's solution stick out from the crowd is the fact that it uses AI to provide well-informed analysis and monitoring.
This dental camera, which looks like an electric toothbrush, simply needs to be inserted into the mouth of the user after they brush their teeth as normal.
