Fender Debuts First New Guitar Model Since 1958, the Player Plus Meteora

Iconic guitar brand Fender has officially launched the Player Plus Meteora, its first all-new guitar model since 1958. The new guitar will be included in the brands' audiophile-geared Player Plus Series.

The Player Plus Meteora boasts a sleek, future-forward design that consists of a variety of high-performance elements and upgrades. These include a skinny C-neck with softened edges, medium jumbo frets, and a 12” radius fretboard. Moreover, the model includes a set of Fender's signature Fireball Humbucking Pickups, which allow for crisp, hum-free tones. The guitar is being offered in six rich and detailed color schemes.

No doubt, considering the Player Plus Meteora is Fender's first entirely new guitar silhouette in nearly 50 years, it feels primed and ready for the world's next up-and-coming rockstar to claim it as their signature instrument.
