Puratos UK has expanded its range of vegan products by introducing two new plant-based baking mixes that will offer consumers a simple way to achieve their favorite recipes.
The mixes include the vegan granola baking mix, which is a blend of whole grains, oats and sunflower seeds to make it perfect for swirls, shards, slices and bites. The second product being launched is the Satin vegan cake mix that's focused on versatility to make muffins, cupcakes and celebration cakes with ease.
Puratos UK Digital & Communications Manager Lydia Baines spoke on inspiration behind the new plant-based baking mixes saying, "Sales of our vegan products are growing as more of our customers offer plant-based patisserie and bakery products to meet increasing consumer demand. Our Taste Tomorrow consumer study (2018) confirmed that veganism is going to continue its upward trend, with 20% of people buying vegan or vegetarian food each week.”
