Communicative Plant Contraptions

The Phytl Signs Device Can Decipher Plant Communication Signals

Phytl Signs is a futuristic new plant communication device, developed by none other than Switzerland-based company Vivent SARL, that is designed to make it possible to detect and harness the subtle electrical signals emitted by plants before routing them through a speaker so that you can hear what your plants are 'saying'.

Currently the subject of a crowdfunding campaign, this plant communication apparatus makes use of a pair of receptors that are hooked up to a special signal processor, from where the plant-emitted signals are directed through an embedded speaker. Users can even monitor data from the plant on a companion smartphone app.

This plant communication product isn't just a fun gimmick, as it actually enables people to analyze plant signals before going about using derived information to optimize growing conditions.
