As well as being able to enjoy Kool-Aid pickles at the 2018 State Fair of Texas, people will have the opportunity to sip on a next-level pickle drink dubbed the 'Kool-Aid Pickle-Dilly Sangria.'
The Kool-Aid fruit punch and pickle juice sangria is made with a mix of white wine, lemon-lime soda, plus blueberries, cherries, chunks of pineapple and to top it all off, a pickle soaked in Kool-Aid as a garnish. State Fair of Texas calls this new item a twist on Southern-inspired sangria with "a delicious combination of sweet and salty with a fruity backbone."
While there are plenty of pickle-flavored foods that have been available to consumers for years, there are now also many ways to enjoy the tangy taste of pickles with everything from alcoholic mixers to slushies.
