Artist-Inspired Bongs

The "Picasso Bong" is Modeled After His 1950s Clay Creations

Designed by Guy Overfelt, the "Picasso Bong" is an avant-garde smoking implement made of high-quality porcelain. Inspired by Picasso's work from the 1950s, the Picasso Bong was first conceptualized when Overfelt noticed only small changes would need to be made to turn the original pieces into bongs. The bong is made in Jingdezhen, China, a region known for its high-quality porcelain that has been produced in the region for nearly a thousand years.

Modeled after Picasso's Sujet Poisson, this Picasso Bong is made of red earthenware clay and comes partially glazed. The bong also features decorations of black and white englobes, providing the distinct fish stylings of the piece. Finally, the glass bowl and stem used for smoking is entirely hand-blown. Each piece also features a stamp and mark reading "Edition Picasso Bong / Madoura Plein Feu / Edition Picasso" for authenticity.
